Glasgow’s latest museum is situated by the historic River Clyde and brings the treasures of the well known Glasgow Transport Museum to a new and exciting environment designed by the universally acclaimed architect Zaha Hadid. Few cities have had such a profound impact upon transport and technology as Glasgow and so it is fitting that the city should have a world- class building in which to tell the story of its world-class history.

Riverside Museum will secure the future of Glasgow’s international and nationally important transport collections and will give visitors of all ages unprecedented access to more than 3000 objects, including exciting exhibits from every mode of transport through the ages, from horse-drawn carriages to motorcycles, steam engines and motor cars.
