As one of Scotland’s most popular tourist attractions, the magnificent and world famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is a stunning location for any formal or informal gathering. The building boasts an art collection of international significance which includes works by Rembrandt, Botticelli, Van Gogh and Lippi. The museum also has a large collection of arms and armour as well as hosting Scotland’s premier science, technology and natural history collection. Glasgow's most famous creative son; Charles Rennie Mackintosh is also represented, with a major collection of his work on permanent display.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum recently opened after a major refurbishment and resides in an impressive Victorian building set amidst its own park, with a picturesque backdrop provided by the gothic splendour of Glasgow University.
Surrounded by the some of the world’s greatest artworks, Encore have welcomed the challenge of successfully entertaining prestigious guests from the UEFA Champions League, and the World Curling Championships amongst others in the main hall, which has the potential to seat 500 for a spectacular evening dinner or up to 1000 reception guests. On less formal occasions we are equally at home welcoming you and your guests at the “KG Café” where we offer a relaxed but sophisticated dining experience - a welcome retreat from wandering through this most impressive museum and gallery.
